Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What equipment do you use ? 

A: I use Canon professional grade cameras and several high end lenses and flashes with the insane ability to deliver a quality image in those not-so-ideal environments. The main camera I use has two memory card slots, one for the main card that holds all of the high resolution images, and one that keeps backup copies all of the images I take throughout the day, in the case my main card fails.  I keep a nice backup camera and flash on hand, as well as extra batteries and memory cards for emergencies. I use Apple computers and Adobe software for processing and editing your images. I have invested in my equipment for years, and am proud of what my business is made up of. 

Q: Do you offer other services, such as a photobooth or reception lighting with your event coverage ?

A: Because my main focus is an artistic, documentary approach to your event, I do not offer a photobooth or special dance lighting effects with my coverage at this time.  I can give you recommendations for some professionals who strictly offer these services, though, and I'm happy to work alongside them!

Q: Are all of the pictures you take included with the session?

A: This all depends on what type of session we are doing!  Weddings and engagements include all edited digital files with print release.  Most lifestyle sessions include all the edited digital downloads and print release, unless it is a special custom session which calls for prints and products only with the option to purchase the digital files.  

Q: Do you travel ?

A: Absolutely, I would love to!  I will drive or fly to where your destination is located. Please inquire with me for any travel fees based on your location.

Q: Why should I book with you ?

A: The best part about my job is getting to meet so many amazing personalities and perspectives, and it is an honor to witness such beautiful and special moments in each of their lives. This is what I am passionate about and I really do care about what I am delivering to you, from our experience together to the images you will see in your gallery.

Q: How do I get this set in stone!?

A: In order to officially book a date and hold it with me on the calendar, I ask for a retainer fee.  For weddings, this is $1,000.  For all other sessions, it is 50% of the total fee. The remaining balance is due closer to the date of the event. I accept multiple forms of payment, and we can discuss that at the time of booking.
